The below speaking slots will be of 40 minute duration including any Q&A sessions on 18 and 19 March 2025. A brief outline of the speaking streams is below:
Breakout speaking streams – are delivered in traditional meeting rooms. All sessions are 40 minutes in duration including any Q&A time should you wish to take questions from the audience.
Your meeting room will have a data projector connected to a show laptop. You will be provided with a clicker to advance slides. There will be a lectern microphone and one additional handheld microphone for a second speaker if applicable.
Breakout sessions are a maximum of 2 presenters per speaking session.
Think Tank speaking streams - are held in open space, designed to be a dynamic session, very similar to a standard breakout session. Seating is up close and personal to the stage. Some think tanks have amplified sound, others the audience are wearing headsets. All sessions are 40 minutes in duration, including any Q&A time should you wish to take questions from your audience. You will have a large screen to display your presentation, and a “clicker” to advance slides during your presentation. The lectern houses a gooseneck microphone, but if you prefer to move while presenting, a handheld microphone will also be available to all think tank presenters. On the small think tank stage, the lectern houses a show laptop, displaying your presentation in "Presenter View" so any notes you've made regarding specific slides are viewable, whilst also providing you with the option to control your presentation directly from the laptop if preferred.
Think tank sessions are single speaker presentations only.
Panel speaking streams - the format of these presentations can be with slides to aid information to the audience or panel discussion style with Q&A to engage the audience. Panel speaking sessions are held in traditional meeting rooms. You must provide the details of all panelists within your presentation during submission. Additional panelists cannot be added after selection. Your meeting room will have a data projector connected to a show laptop. You will be provided with a clicker to advance slides. There will be a lectern microphone and additional handheld microphones for all speakers as applicable.
