Submission Guidelines
- All submissions should be vendor agnostic. The BrisSEC Program Committee will disqualify any product or vendor pitches.
- No submissions from PR firms / marketing representatives will be accepted and all submissions may only be entered strictly by speakers/researchers.
- Submissions are accepted based on the submitted speaker/s and content. Speaker substitutions are not permitted after acceptance. All presenting speakers must be included in the initial submission, including panel and debates. Additional speakers cannot be added after the submission of your paper. If uploading the paper on behalf of the speaker, please ensure you complete the submission in their name.
- BrisSEC 2026 call for speakers submission period closes at midnight, Friday 13 February 2026. No late submissions will be accepted.
- AISA is a not-for-profit association and is not able to fund speakers requests for accommodation, travel expenses and ground transfers.
- Incomplete submissions will be disqualified. Please ensure you follow the instructions and complete the relevant parts of your submission. If in doubt and you have a question, please email kylie.hatcher@aisa.org.au
- Submissions that include exciting new research, tools, vulnerabilities, new topic areas, new techniques or methodologies will be given priority.
- Individuals may submit more than one speaking submission, but no more than two. Each speaking submission must be submitted independently once you create your online account. Forms that contain multiple speaking proposals in one form will be disqualified.
- To give your submission the best possible chance of success, please ensure you clearly detail the concepts, ideas, solutions, and findings that you plan to present. All submissions must be in English.
- A session (40-minute concurrent) cannot contain more than two speakers. A panel session (40 minutes) has a maximum of three panellists plus a moderator. All sessions are 40 minutes in duration, including any question and answer period.
- Each submission must contain detailed and accurate biographies.
- If the BrisSEC Program Committee has a question regarding your submission, you may be contacted and requested to provide additional information.
- Individuals selected to speak agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document and will be provided with a speaker agreement to sign.
- All successful presentations must use the conference PowerPoint template, which will be provided to you after completing your speaker agreement. No vendor or other company logos are permitted on presentation slides.
- Once the speaker agreement is signed, the individual(s) will be provided with a complimentary BrisSEC conference registration. You must be available to present at the time you are allocated in the program. If you are not available, you risk your presentation being removed from the program.
- Please be aware that all speakers are required to adhere to the AISA Code of Conduct.
